Delete your Archevi account
You can delete your account and your data at any time. It takes a minute in the app, and you can also ask us by email.
In the app
- Open Archevi on your phone or at app.archevi.com and sign in.
- Go to Settings, then the Profile tab.
- Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
- Enter your password if you use one, type DELETE, and confirm.
Your account is deleted right away, and we email you a confirmation.
By email
Can't sign in? Email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you within 30 days. [email protected]
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in, profile, settings, passkeys and trusted devices
- Your conversations, private documents and voice notes
- If you own a family vault with no other owner: the whole vault, its documents and files, and its subscription
What we keep
- If you are a member of a family, documents you shared with that family stay with them.
- Payment records our payment processor must keep for tax law. These hold no documents.
- A record that the deletion happened, with no name or email, for security.
Copies in our database backups are removed as those backups expire, which takes up to 12 months. We never restore a deleted account from them.
