This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Archevi (the "Service") operated by Archevi Technologies Inc. This AUP supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, store, or share any of the following through the Service:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits minors. We use automated hash matching to detect such material and report it to the Canadian Centre for Child Protection and law enforcement.
- Stolen, forged, or fraudulent documents, including identity documents belonging to others without their consent.
- Malware, viruses, or any files designed to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to computer systems.
- Content that infringes on intellectual property rights, including copyrighted materials you do not have the right to store or distribute.
- Materials used for fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes.
- Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or hatred against individuals or groups.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not engage in any of the following activities:
- Attempting to access other users' documents, accounts, or data.
- Sharing account credentials or allowing unauthorized persons to access your account.
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape, extract, or bulk-download content from the Service.
- Circumventing security measures, usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from the Service.
- Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing the Service without written authorization.
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
3. AI Features
Archevi uses AI to help you search, organize, and understand your documents. When using AI features:
- Do not represent AI-generated answers as professional legal, medical, financial, or tax advice. AI responses are informational only and may contain errors.
- Do not upload documents you do not own or have authorization to process.
- Do not attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or extract system prompts from the AI system.
- Do not use AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content.
4. Content Scanning
To maintain a safe platform, all uploaded files are automatically scanned for:
- Malware and viruses (via ClamAV antivirus scanning)
- Known illegal content (via hash matching against law enforcement databases)
These scans are automated and do not involve human review of your documents unless illegal content is detected. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
5. Enforcement
We may take the following actions if we determine that you have violated this policy:
- Issue a warning and request that you remove the offending content.
- Temporarily suspend your access to the Service.
- Permanently terminate your account.
- Remove or quarantine offending content.
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement authorities, including the Canadian Centre for Child Protection and the RCMP.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except where required by law, where notification would compromise an investigation, or where immediate action is necessary to protect users or the Service.
6. Reporting Concerns
If you believe content on Archevi violates this policy, or if you have concerns about the safety of a child, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
